Extra Hands




In our house, we store almost everything in storage bags – leftovers of all descriptions, soups, stews, everything. We also use them to marinate meats and vegetables.  We find they are easier to stuff into irregular spaces in the fridge and don’t “demand” space that hard containers do.   The problem is I usually find myself in the kitchen alone trying to pour something into an amorphous receptacle that wants to fall over and spill its contents all over the counter and floor.  The solution is to put the bag into a pitcher for gallon-size bags or a small pitcher or large measuring cup for pint-size bags.  Works like a charm!
